Why did I enter the All Stars Competition? Entering the matrix All Stars Competition wasn’t just about showcasing my skills as a hairstylist; it was about embracing the beauty of unpredictability and seizing unexpected opportunities. My look was Inspired by a unique encounter with the Aurora Australis, “Despite traveling to Stewart Island/Rakiura to witness it, luck wasn’t on my side. But two weeks later, it graced the skies in my hometown of Motueka.” I learned the valuable lesson that extraordinary moments can unfold unexpectedly. Much like the surprises in life, hair transformations can emerge unexpectedly, surprising both the stylist and the client with their overall beauty and impact. Balancing motherhood and hairstyling has taught me the importance of consistency, creativity, and staying true to myself. Returning to the salon floor reignited my passion for hairstyling, and entering the competition was a natural next step in my journey to inspire others through my work. Thankyou to all my models and also to the people who helped me get there. I grew up in Motueka, a small town at the top of the South Island New Zealand with lots of big dreams and being a hair dresser and makeup artist was one of them. As I got older I realized that this was what I enjoy most in life, helping people understand the magic of beauty and feeling good within themselves. I believe that hair and makeup plays a big part in a persons life. My passion drives me to succeed ,every day i wake up loveing my industry were there is passion there is success.
