We'd love your feedback on how we can make it even better for guests in wheelchairs.

We are offering a 2nt weekday mini break in March or April 2024 (Not Easter!) in exchange for evaluating our Avoca cabin?

Need a country escape over summer?

Our 2nd cabin is up and running! It's a studio so no bedrooms in this cabin, queen bed downstairs and 2 beds upstairs in lofts.

Book both cabins with a group of friends whilst riding the Clutha Gold Trail.

2hrs drive from Queenstown, Dunedin and Invercargill.

Enjoy the local heated village pool and a great pub meal at Millers Flat Tavern

Here is a sneak peek inside Ormaglade cabin #2. She'll be ready for a summer of fun in the teviot valley!

It's a studio this time, so open plan (no bedrooms) queen bed downstairs and 2 beds upstairs ...with a gantry joining the 2 loft spaces!
Great for a family of 4 or a couple.

Spring is a funny season - a month ago we had snow, then sun and rain!

We are now gearing up for summer - the bikers are back on the trails and our weekends are filling up with people needing a bit of 'Timeout' without driving too far from home.

Check out the avail dates on our website before Christmas and see if you can find a cheeky night (or 2) to escape away....with🍾 Bubbles, bath under the stars, big comfy bed....and free wifi if books and board games aren't your thing!

The weather gods were on our side- no wind and not too hot!☀️
The Lake Dunstan cycle trail was such an epic ride! If you are in Central Otago and have some biking experience give it a go! However watch out for the blind corners!

Any local bike shop will kit you out and organise you a shuttle.

Here we go again!
After a two year break from building, (thanks Covid, global shipping and building supply delays!!)
...we finally have a foundation for our studio! Exciting!!

Our custom made Shipping Containers will be placed either side of the slab.
The concrete slab creates part of the living space in the middle.

Note to guests- no builders about at the weekends, but you might spot one finishing up midweek about 4pm!!😀

It's THAT time of year again folks, time to look harder at our survey completion tallies. Remember these are directly related to our eligibility for MBIE funding to help maintain the trail???

Regretfully I've failed to crack a sustainable solution to get our 300 surveys per year completed (YET) I'm sorry! So here we are still needing 195 surveys completed by the end of January 2022!?!

The good news is, we're slightly ahead of this time last year, and we're a month ahead of when we started this drive last year!

The bad news is, we're still way behind again! So, with my cap in my hand, if you've ridden, walked or run on our trail in the last 9 months, if you're going to in the next 3, or if you know anyone who has or is, could you please help us by giving us your feedback via the following user survey??? So great to have people in the door today 😊. Vern and Krissy have been busy in the kitchen and we have delicious wraps, pies, baked potatoes, Filo parcels, sausage rolls ,chocolate and lemon tart, and much more.

✔ testing of the new breakfast crossiants for upcoming guests! (Best job, with the most volunteers!)🥐🥐

Lockdown in the cabin is pretty quiet!
