Fools Pools Swim School is a Quality Swim School registered with Swimming NZ. All our teachers are trained Swimming Teachers and are assessed through the Swimming NZ program. Fools Pools Swim School offers Learn to Swim lessons to children of all ages during the school terms (we follow the Waimauku school term). Swimming lessons run in the afternoons and evenings, Mon to Thurs, and on Sat mornings

. We also run Swimming Squads daily (for children and adults), and offer private lessons (either 1 on 1, or 2 on 1). We offer Intensive Swimming Holiday programs during the Xmas holidays. We have a competitive Swimming Team that swims in the Auckland Swimming League (Terms 2 and 3). Fools Pools is open for Casual Swimming and Waterwalking outside of the Swim School hours. We are closely aligned with the Muriwai Surf Club, and they use our pool weekly for training sessions.

Hello lovely Muriwai community,
Only Fools and Horses has been up for sale but we have decided to pull it off the market now, and go forward with another plan. This means that the pool will continue with Swim School and casual swimming as usual for the foreseeable future. We will be running holiday programs during January.
The beautiful 4 bed villa will be available for immediate rental .. please private message me for details if you are interested.
The gorgeous fully self contained 1 bed studio will be available for immediate rental .. please private message me for details if you are interested.

Saturday casual swimmers - just a heads up that there will be a group of local teenage boys swimming at the pool this Sat 21 Oct between 1-2.30pm. They wont take up the whole pool but, if you like to swim when it's a bit quieter, perhaps delay your swim til after 2.30pm.

Please note that all children registering for Term 3 will be guaranteed a place in Term 4 swimming also. Term 4 swimming is likely to be very busy, and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fit everyone into classes.

Term 1 Swim School –
Due to cyclone damage, Term 1 will be extended through to 29 April.

Term 2 Swim School –
Start date will be 1 May, run for 9 weeks, ending on 1 Jul.

Pool Maintenance Closure: Fri April 21 – Sunday April 23.
We will be closed for these 3 days while we have the final repairs to the pool enclosure completed. This involves taking apart the south end of the pool enclosure, putting new rubbers around all the doors and panels that blew out in the storm, and putting in new polycarbonate panels to replace the temporary plywood that was put in following the storm. This is a big job and the whole facility will be closed over these 3 days

We have lots of swimming caps, goggles and swim wear donated by our wonderful community for those of you who need swimming gear. Zoggs have also donated lots of children's goggles.
Come by during Swim School hours to see what we have, or DM me with what you require.

Hello lovely community,
If any of you out there have spare swimming caps and goggles that you no longer need, we have quite a few swimmers who had to evacuate their homes and will be needing these for swimming. If you have any spare please drop them in to us so that we can distribute to those who need them.

Squads are running each day from 8am to 9am - we still have some spaces if any of you squad swimmers keen to come on any of the days.
Other classes running through to 11.30am each day.
