🏈The Hurricanes are bringing the excitement to Napier!

On 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟮𝟮 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, McLean Park will host the Hurricanes' first home game of the season against Fijian Drua – a highly anticipated Round Two clash!

This marks the Hurricanes' fourteenth game at McLean Park, a ground where the team has received incredible support from the Hawke’s Bay community. It’s a special moment for our local players too, as they’ll have the chance to play on their home turf, surrounded by friends and whānau.

If you’re heading to the opening night of Jersey Boys on Friday 4 October or the show on Saturday 5 October, please go along earlier to allow for parking.

It’s going to be a fantastic weekend of arts and culture in Napier with Deco Lumina and Nuit Blanche happening in upper Tennyson Street so parking might be a bit busier than usual. Perhaps check out some of the activities and make the most of a great night out.

All parking in the CBD (including leased parking) is FREE after 6pm on Friday and after 2pm on Saturday. Plus, the Napier Municipal Theatre has a designated ‘drop-off’ zone right outside the front entrance for your convenience.

📢 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝘄𝗶 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿!
This city-wide art installation will see 20 kiwi sculptures pop up along the cycleway on Napier’s coastline, as part of the Save the Kiwi NZ national tour.
🎨 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱: As part of the tour, local artists will have a chance to contribute in each location and the Kiwi Art Trail need two local artists to join the Napier leg.
