The Hurricanes kick off their 2025 season with their first home game against Fijian Drua on Saturday, 22 February at McLean Park!

This will be the 14th game at McLean Park for the 'Canes, and we can't wait to see the stands packed with passionate supporters! It’s a special moment for our local players too, as they’ll be playing on home turf, surrounded by friends and whānau.

Headlining this year’s celebration is Hands Off, one of New Zealand’s most loved covers bands. With 25 years of electrifying performances under their belt, they how to bring the party!

Joining them will be a stellar lineup: 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱, known for their honest and soulful sounds; 𝗘𝗹’ 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀, a Hawke’s Bay rock band with unstoppable energy and stage presence; and 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱, a pop-folk powerhouse with a rock edge.
