Today we celebrate 10 years of Ho***rs Vintage and Classic Vehicle Hire operating here in the heart of Napier, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.

10 years is a pretty big deal and we’ve had a real 'Hoot' of a time, that being said, it’s been a tough few years for all of us and like many of you folks out there we’ve decided it’s time for a change too!

Today we also close our doors to the adventure of Ho***rs, it’s been a fantastic journey and as a family owned and operated business we could not be happier with the adventures we’ve shared. A heartfelt thanks to all our team over the years and a special nod to those we’ve sadly lost along the way.

Thank you to all our amazing customers and to all those that have supported us.

We couldn’t have done it without you all! So on that note, we ask you to join us today and raise a glass remembering all the fun we’ve had over the last 10 years.

BREAKING NEWS!
Hey Folks,
Most of you know that we are a family run business comprising of father and daughter team David & Ana, with the fleet managed by Ana's partner Phil. Our drivers are an eclectic mix of locals and ex-pats that have fast become our Kiwi family.
With David being in the UK for the pandemic so far, Ana currently recovering from surgery and our drivers in various stages of being no spring chickens, we have taken the very difficult decision to close for the rest of the season.
With Omicron finally hitting us here in beautiful Hawke's Bay we simply cannot operate safely and do not have the numbers to rotate staff should anyone become infected.
Ho***rs has always been a family company, built on a love for cars and and a whole sense of fun. So with that in mind we will let Covid do it's thing and hope to be back next season when the borders open and we all feel happier, safer and ready to have some good old fashioned fun again!

Perfect way to explore Napier and wineries
Tripadvisor review: 3-hour Private Scenic and Taster Tour by Vintage Car
We were greeted by our warm and friendly host Tony and Bonnie. Bonnie is a very stylish and Uber comfortable open top 1927 Buick. We first stopped at the Mission Estate winery with a knowledgeable tasting with Deanna and then moved to Moana winery where we had an enjoyable and relaxed tasting outdoors with Libby and Amanda. Tony then finished with a tour of Napier and gave an interesting overview of the town’s history sprinkled with some good humour ;-). Would definitely recommend as the way to explore the region and hope to visit for another tour again.

Felt honoured to attend a fantastic presentation for Bob Jordan our number 1 Supertrike guy and Vintage car driver, to honour his recognition of services for the Navy at Napier RSA Napier. Congratulations Bob and thanks for the invite, a great time had by all and an honour to attend.

Fantastic tour with Bob in a beautiful vintage car. Bob had a great sense of humour and great knowledge. We loved every moment of the tour and were wrapped up warmly in the blankets provided so we could have the top down on the car. We have all been to Napier before but we would all do this tour again! Great to do the tour at the beginning of your Napier stay. Definitely recommend Ho***rs and Bob.
Tours make great presents for people too.

We have not been mixing groups now for over a year due to the pandemic and safety first for our visitors and our team but we have certainly encouraged you to visit us in your bubble.
This awesome group met up in the Napier i-SITE Visitor Centre and decided to make their own bubble and team up for an afternoon of vintage fun. Turns out they were all from Invercargill so a perfect NZ bubble formed.

The Ho***rs team have just had the busiest few days in over a year, with the final rescheduled tours all coming to a head this week and what a week it's been!
It has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of these groups Napier activities. We know it's been a long time coming but hope we made the wait worthwhile and hope you all had a fabulous time in our beautiful city.

The final convoy of the weekend saw 9 cars in convoy and finished our weekend with a bang!
A little chillier than we would of liked but we dressed up warm, got the blankets out and enjoyed a mixture of luxury sedans, open tops with the roofs up and fully open for the hardy!

Smiles all round, what a happy bunch! 😁

We do love a good convoy and this one has been a long time coming. Due to Covid19 and lockdown restrictions we've had to reschedule Ana and her team a few times. Finally 3rd time lucky and the team finally made it to Napier and according to Ana 'The team were blown away by the whole experience!'
Yay! We do love happy customers and what fun, it's been a while since we had a decent convoy!
