Day Seven. Last day before we head home. Today we headed to The Snares Islands which are the northernmost of the Sub Antarctic Islands and the southenmost I have ever travelled to!! Unfortunately due to the weather we were not able to get out on the Zodiacs and get closer, but our Captain did a pretty good job of getting us as close as he could. Snares islands are untouched and uninhabited islands with a plethora of Birdlife at one point there was so many birds flying together it reminded us of the sanflies in Fiordland 😀. This was a once in a lifetime cruise with amazing scenery, lots of interesting people and nature and wildlife galore.

Day Six The weather was brilliant today. We had beautiful weather which was a treat. The day started with a magnificent sunrise over Milford Sound, before the ship headed back down to Doubtful sound where we went for a lovely walk through the bush, followed by a long Zodiac Cruise where we were able to get right up to the Sounds . Just another great day in Paradise

Day Four. Last day in Dusky Sound before heading to Milford Sound in the morning. Here is a little video of us cruising out of Dusky Sound through Acheron Passage, which was absolutely spectacular.

Day Three - Fiordland. This is what I was looking forward to, Fiordland and it did not disappoint. We started in Dusky Sound, with visits to Anchor Island and Luncheon Cove, and were out and about on the Zodiacs exploring the area, learning the history and seeing all the local wildlife. We were also treated to a delicious bbq lunch on deck and of course it was weather as expected with Rain, Hail and Sunshine.

Day Two - Stewart Island we visited Ulva Island and Oban. First stop was Ulva Island where we went for a lovely walk through the forest and got to see a family of Sea Lions and loads in interesting birds and plant life. After Ulva Island, we headed to Oban, the lookout had some spectacular views and a visit to the Museum is highly recommended. After a full day of exploring it was back to our ship for another wonderful dinner.

First day of the Expedition Crusie, we spent the morning in Queenstown, before a scenic bus ride to Bluff, where we boarded our lovely ship and headed to Stewart Island. The ship is very nice, my cabin is huge, with a big bed and a comfortable sitting area, the food was delicious and cannot wait to relax in the spa.
