We were in the Ndutu area, watching a family of elephants at the marsh for over an hour when one of the young females wandered over to our Land Rover. She wasn’t in a rush—just curious. It’s not often that wild elephants feel comfortable enough to come that close, so it was a nice moment to take in. She stood for a bit, gave us a good look, then went back to the herd.
