🌼Why did you decide to work for Driving Miss Daisy?
I wanted to work in the community, helping meet the needs of people. I was ready for a change after many years as a primary school teacher, meeting the needs of young children.

🌼What would you tell your younger self?
To live a life you will remember and don’t sweat the small stuff!!!!!

🌼Favourite food
That would be anything satay

🌼What do you do to relax?
I love going camping, making gluten free treats, walking and sitting at cafes with a pot of tea watching the world go by.

🌼What is one thing you have never done but is on your list of things to do.
To conquer my fear of heights and master a rock climb instead of always watching my daughter climb.

🌼What is your favourite part of N.Z
Tōtaranui in the Abel Tasman. It’s my happy place. Swimming all day and listening to the Moreporks, Weka and Pūkeko at night.

When Claire got knocked off her bike and ended up with crutches, a moonboot, she had a dilemma - how was she going to deliver this precious cargo? Enter Driving Miss Daisy, to provide some extra care and personalised service to help keep Florence and Matthijs in their daily routines. Mum, kids, bags and boosters all loaded securely, and dispatched in safety and comfort; and what's more, it's stress free - and lots of fun for everyone!

Last month Driving Miss Daisy New Zealand held their annual conference where all Daisy Franchises from across the country came together in celebration of the hard work we all put in to running our businesses.

As Driving Miss Daisy - Nelson West said in their post, we work together with the West team to make sure everyone in Nelson/Tasman gets a 'Daisy'; Sophie and Rob share the phones and scheduling, and we even share staff to help each other out. It's been amazing to share this journey with not only our neighboring team, but our family, and we are so grateful to have had the support from them, as well as from our wonderful clients!!🌼
