The Government has announced a $9 million funding boost to improve infrastructure and upgrades across Ngā Haerenga Great Rides of New Zealand cycle trails! This investment ensures even better cyclist experiences, with improved safety, trail surfaces, and facilities.✨

With an impressive 20 years in the Central Otago cycling scene and the tourism industry, Sandra knows the trails and local gems like the back of her hand. From the best trails to the perfect local café, Sandra’s expertise ensures that every tour runs smoothly and every customer has an unforgettable experience.

When she’s not orchestrating seamless cycling tours, Sandra can be found helping out on her farm of deer, beef, and sheep with her husband, Brent, in Middlemarch, where they’ve raised their family for the past 20 years. She enjoys cycling, walking with her dog Molly, and swimming in her spare time.
Sandra’s love for Central Otago runs deep, and she’s excited to share the magic of this place that’s captured her heart for so many years.

Raili and R**t from Estonia had the "𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙕𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮" today!🌟 They flew from Christchurch to Hokitika with Air New Zealand, where Kiwi Journeys greeted them and set them up with two E-bikes. 🚴‍♀️

They then cycled through one of the most beautiful sections of the West Coast Wilderness Trail, surrounded by lush forests, before reaching the West Coast Treetop Walk, Cafe & Tower Zipline. They took in the breathtaking views from the elevated walkway in the treetops, followed by a leisurely cycle back along the trail to Hokitika. 🌿

After an unforgettable adventure, we dropped them back at Hokitika Airport for their return flight to Christchurch—all in a day. 𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐭! 🙌

All smiles today as this group celebrates finishing their six-day cycle tour on our 𝙂𝙤 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧! 🚴‍♀️ They explored three epic trails: from Cromwell to Waihola along the Lake Dunstan, Roxburgh Gorge, and the Clutha Gold Trails.

We're excited to introduce the familiar faces you'll encounter as you travel around our three depots this season.

𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑺𝒖𝒛𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆, the heartbeat of our West Coast operations! With an impressive 30 years in the tourism industry, Suzanne's journey began in the skies before taking a thrilling detour to run her own backpacker's haven. What was meant to be a brief stay on the West Coast turned into two decades of discovery, drawn in by the region's breathtaking landscapes and relaxed pace of life on the coast.

When she's not ensuring that our cycling holidays run without a hitch, Suzanne can be found exploring cycle trails and backpacking around the world. Her mission is simple – to create experiences that stay with you long after your wheels stop turning.
