Water of Life Film presents The Scotch Series: Copper

Copper is an element.

It is number 29 in the Periodic Table, in the same column as Silver and Gold.

They are called Transition Metals. It is found in South Africa, among other places. LH Stainless, a turnkey distillery builder gets their copper from MkM Manfelder Kupfer and Messing GmbH in Germany. It is milled there into strips, sheets, plates, wire, tubes, rods, bars and profiles. LH Stainless brings it home to design and fashion the stills we know and love for distilleries in Scotland. They have even designed and constructed the stills for the Ardnahoe Distillery - Islay's ninth.

The Whisky industry is experiencing a bit of a renaissance, and we’re totally okay with that!

Worldwide whisky inspired tourism injects upwards of $2.5 billion in spending into whisky producing areas. That’s a big number and one that is likely to get even bigger. Little surprise that government tourism agencies have targeted whisky tourism as an important source of economic growth.
