Just had this amazing feedback from our last guests, they did'nt have the best of weather, but made the most of it, we meet such lovely people!

Sandra and Andrea are SUPER SUPER HOST !!!!! Thanks to them our experience at Stewart Island was just amazing. Their house was just FANTASTIC. Words just can’t describe this AWESOME PLACE. The location FANTASTIC. The house HUGE !!!. And all private. So much privacy. Huge bedrooms , living room, bathrooms 3 of them …..HUGE EVERYTHING. The property just doesn’t seem to end . Very very clean and all the possible amenities. The added bonus is the car ….. a blessing in disguise. Also it was sooooo sweet of Andrea to pick and drop us to the flight depot. Thank you sooooo much Sandra and Andrea for hosting my family and me …. We really felt at home all because of you !!!

Lots of Kiwi around the house, this one was just a tad close to the camera!

Guests are seeing lots of Kiwi at night, one even looked like it was going to walk right into the conservatory!

We saw kiwis 2 of our 3 nights. In the small wee hours but still, worth it staying up/waking up for that for sure. The stars alone are a treat. One kiwi randomly encountered on the driveway started sniffing inside one of our shoes as we wandered down to the beach in the dark. Quite surreal! And the view of the bay from the lovely, clean and cosy house is super special.

Seeing lots of Kiwi out at night, this one loved the Red Band gumboots, checked them out for a good 10 minutes. Just off the drive to Sea View.

Had a great couple of nights, hosting the Viva Expeditions Aurora Group Tour, 0 degrees out there, but they where a hardy bunch!
