Our 44ft boat is super stable, offering guests a comfortable ride and plenty of space to fish. There is a covered area out the back providing shade from sun or shelter from rain and a cabin area where you can sit and enjoy a cuppa. Our crew are highly qualified and have been fishing all their lives! Even on their days off, you'll often find them out fishing in the bay! The crew will bait hooks, re

move fish and at the end of the day, they'll fillet and bag your fish ready to take home with you. Jump on one of our shared trips with other keen fisho's or you can hire the entire boat for a private charter that we can tailor to suit your group. We are perfect for:
* Families - Our child policy is one child 4-11 years goes free when fishing together with an adult (one child per adult).
* Groups - Christmas parties, stag do's, friends and family groups ...you name it.
* Those with limited mobility - we have wheelchair access onto the boat so whether you're in a wheelchair, on crutches or just a little unsteady on your feet, we can still get you out for a fantastic day. Talk to us about how we can make it work for you.
* Solos - If you're by yourself, not a problem! Hop on one of our shared trips and join others for a fun day out.
* Fishing Clubs - We take a lot of fishing clubs out for the day as we can take up to 12 fishing at once. We're a friendly team who love getting visitors and locals alike out into our beautiful backyard for an epic day out catching snapper, kingfish, kahawai, John Dory and more.

It's been like Queen St on the water out in the Bay over the break! The other day our guys counted 83 boats all sitting around one of our usual spots where there's usually only ever 2 or 3 boats. 83!! Crazy! Fishing has been a bit of a mixed bag with all the activity going on with a couple of slower days but we've also had some trips just go off with guests catching their PB's and going home with good feeds for the family. That's fishing for ya!

After a super busy morning charter we are signing off for 2024. What a year it has been! The May Marie had a wee make over with a new look and a brand new state-of-the-art sounder installed (complete with some amazing technology that the guys are loving), Trent gained his Skippers ticket, Kerry and Johnny joined the team, we had a record year, met some wickedly awesome people both locals and overseas visitors and best of all, have a very cool network of regular clients that are just like going out for a fish with your mates. A big thank you to each and every one of you who have chosen to come fishing with us! We look forward to lots more epic fishing adventures with you all in 2025! Happy New Year everyone!
