Absolutely one of the best experiences we have had on vacation. First up the boat was in tremendous condition and comfortable. We had a nice tour of the islands, went through the hole in the rock and past the headlands where we saw a huge school of fish. On the way back we moored and fed fish who came to the side of the boat and we could watch them through the glass bottom.
The guide was phenomenal. He was highly knowledgeable about boat safety, local history, marine life, fishing, and ecologically sound practices. Plus he was a really nice guy.

Excellent EXCELLENT tour! Jeff, the skipper, gave fabulous commentary before, during, and after the tour. Our party of 5 took the 9am tour on 9th Jan and we lucked out with excellent weather & water conditions. The passage through the Hole in the Rock was phenomenal. The ride to & from Paihia, stopping at key landmarks and islands, with key information shared by Jeff was all fabulous and appreciated. The fish feeding was a treat, as was seeing the variety of fish once the glass bottom of the boat was revealed. Having done the bigger boat tours (4+ hrs) on prior visits, I would highly recommend this tour (~2.5hrs) as it provides a more personable tour without the throngs of people, and it is simply so much more fun.

☀️The trip out to the hole in the rock was fantastic and the skipper was very informative. This is the BEST WAY to see the Hole in the Rock.

We had the privilege to take some of the Children and Parents from Oromahoe Kindergarten to Otehei bay!
It was the first trip out for both “Nemo” and “Dory” together! The children got to see the Fish through the Glass bottom, followed by a picnic and swim 🐟
