NEW FARES
From 1st July, the fare structure reverts back to the single fare structure that was in place prior to the half price and age-based concession support that the Government provided.
There will be one standard Bee Card fare and one cash fare regardless of passenger age ie. $2.40 per trip in Hamilton.
The weekly payable fare cap will be reintroduced and will be reduced to 6.5 trips for youth aged 5-18 years and remain at nine trips for adults (of the repeated daily journey). As an example around Hamilton, those aged 5-18 years will pay no more that $15.60 within 1 zone for the week.

Youth fare capping will automatically activate if the Bee Card is registered with the child’s name and date of birth.

Community Connect (Community Services Card) and SuperGold concessions will continue – please direct any eligibility queries to the Ministry of Social Development (MSD).

Wow, there have been so many wonderful people out their supporting the Grace Millane Handbag appeal. We offered the isite as a drop off point and have been inundated with goodies for this tremendous appeal for Womens Refuge. The Altrusa Club of Morrinsville are behind this appeal (locally) and have done an amazing job in promoting this. It is not too late, if you still wish to be involved, simply fill a handbag with toiletries and other requested items and drop in to us at the isite Visitor Morrinsville isite Visitor Information Centre. Thank you.

Altrusa Morrinsville's next fundraiser is the High Tea and Fashion Show (Fashions by Nite N Day) (details below in the poster). This has been going for several years with all funds raised from this event going back into Morrinsville Community Events. Tickets available at the Info Centre or Nite N Day Fashions.

A number of items from the MBS Advisors Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday night are at the Morrinsville isite.
If Jan-Hendrik Brown or Daymon Main (or someone that knows either of them) can get them to contact us that would be great.

Tickets for the MBS Advisors Fireworks Extravaganza are available now at the isite visitor centre. There will be ticket sales at the gate . We have arranged additional parking at the Morrinsville Sale Yards, our sincere thanks to the Sale Yards for providing this. Entry to car park from Anderson Street. Pedestrian walkway to Thames Street (next to New World Entrance).
We are expecting a large crowd so please be patient on arrival and when you leave. Our helpers are all volunteers, giving up their time to assist with this annual event, without their help we could not hold events such as this.
We all want an enjoyable evening that everyone can enjoy. Thank you in advance.
