We also had the most fun and pleasure to help them organize their special day and to be their witnesses. Wow don't think I've ever seen snow this low in Picton before 😍 Super cold but what a beautiful sight from our cozy warm Cottages this morning ❄️

So these wee girls have finally grown up and we have our first eggs 🥚 🤩 They not very big eggs but I bet they are going to be super tasty 😋
Not only is Picton a stunning place to visit but we have the gorgeous Queen Charlotte Drive between us and Havelock with beautiful bays and views. We never get sick of watching the amazing Marlborough Flyer going past our cottages 😍🚂
Garden View Cottages is placed in a unique location. We overlook the Waitohi Viaduct and out to the Port. We have no road noise and no close neighbours so 99.9% of the time it's very quiet with just the sound of native birds. But if you have a love of Trains there is no better place than to watch the odd train tackling the Elevation which is a problematic 1 in 37 slope and the 4th steepest rail in New Zealand. What an amazing sight 🚂😍 It's so nice to see Marlborough Flyer back in action. We have one of the best places in Picton to watch the steam train leave the station, cross the viaduct and tackle the elevation 😃
