There's always something to do or see when visiting Picton 😍 It may not have been a perfect day but the seals were having a great time in the rain at Waikawa Marina 🦭

We never get sick of watching the amazing Marlborough Flyer going past our cottages 😍🚂

Garden View Cottages is placed in a unique location. We overlook the Waitohi Viaduct and out to the Port. We have no road noise and no close neighbours so 99.9% of the time it's very quiet with just the sound of native birds. But if you have a love of Trains there is no better place than to watch the odd train tackling the Elevation which is a problematic 1 in 37 slope and the 4th steepest rail in New Zealand. This is the KiwiRail Coastal Pacific Train leaving Picton 🤩🚉 We do a Free pick up & drop off service for our guests so book your holiday now! www.gardenviewcottages.co.nz 😃

What an amazing sight 🚂😍 It's so nice to see Marlborough Flyer back in action. We have one of the best places in Picton to watch the steam train leave the station, cross the viaduct and tackle the elevation 😃

So great to see the Steam Train running past our place again!!😍🚂 We have the perfect place for the keen train spotters, you can watch the trains leaving Picton station and then tackling the 4th Steepest railway in NZ 😁
