Our Story
Situated in the beautiful Moetapu Bay, Mahau Sound in the Marlborough Sounds. Featuring peace, birdlife, views to die for, glowworms, boating, fishing and swimming. Close to Havelock for the cafes and boat tours, Te Mahia lodge and Raetihi Lodge are close by for lovely meals etc. Not far from Anakiwa, the start/end of Queen Charlotte Track. We can assist with pick ups and drop off to the Track. Great bush and beach walks start from the cottage. We have 2 kayaks available for guest use. The cottage is set in private bush surrounds with cheeky wekas, tuis and wood pidgeons. This 1 double bedroom plus a double devan bed in the lounge can cater for up to 4 adults and one child. A cot and childs high chair are available. Your pets are welcome to stay outside and under control. Welcome to our slice of paradise and we look seeing you. Email us for rates and availability
