Look we're going to do something we don't usually do - get right to the point without all the usual garbage we spew...

Friday - 12 pm til 9pm (YOU MUST BUY A MEAL)
Saturday - 12pm til 9pm (You don't need to buy a meal but you can if you want)
Sunday - 12pm til 8pm (YOU MUST BUY A MEAL)

Friday - 11 am–10:30 pm (YOU MUST BUY A MEAL)

💊 Good News and Bad News 💊

Good News: Remember that Fresh Hop beer we talked about what feels like months and months ago? Well, it's FINALLY HERE!!!?! Head into Abandoned Petone or Abandoned Porirua and get yaself a glass or two, then 12-24 cans to take away because this stuff won't last! "What is it though you haven't given us any information?" you'll just have to wait and see! 😘

Bad News: If you're reading this and hoping to head down to Abandoned Porirua tomorrow (Tuesday), you're out of luck... Now that silly season is over, we're going back to our usual hours and closing down on Tuesdays. BUT come Wednesday, Jamie will be there with bells on, ready to serve up hundreds of fresh hop beers!?! Thanks Jamie, we love you.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT: The Porirua Taproom is going to be closed this Saturday night from 7 pm for an extremely special reason. If you haven't already guessed, It's Wayne's 40th birthday!!?!

We're sorry if your plans were to come down to Abandoned Porirua from 7:00 pm til 9:00 pm on Saturday the 5th of April - but you can't! We love Wayne here at Abandoned and he also has hundreds of friends so he's hired out the whole damn joint.

Please wish him a happy birthday in the comments or tell him how much you hate him for stealing the taproom from you!!

God damn! We've cooked up something special for all you folks at Cuba D**a this year!!! Well has, and we've just provided some beers.. But come down from midday Saturday for all the oysters beer and wine you can handle.

We love you all so DAMN much that we thought we'd start 2025 off by releasing the next iteration of everyone's favourite series of Hazy IPAs. Fall off the dry January wagon with this bad boy;

How the f@ could we follow up something as good as Hazy #17 you ask!? Well by changing things ever so slightly again and hoping that it works! This time we’ve gone with Centennial, Kohatu and Columbus.

We've finally managed to put everyone's favourite Hazy IPA into everyone's favourite beer-consuming format. According to the nerds on Untappd it's pretty much our best Hazy IPA ever!

The latest itteration in our highly anticipated never-ending series of very slightly different Hazy IPAs! This one loaded with America’s finest Mosaic and Centennial and Aotearoa’s finest Nectaron.

😰 Bon Voyage 😰

It is with an extremely heavy heart we have to announce that Mr William Fourarce will be leaving the Abandoned Porirua Taproom Manager... Over the last two years, Will has become the face of Abandoned Brewery in Porirua. His hard work and dedication have been the reason we've been able to build a community of craft beer loving regulars at our taproom. And we know that as much as we're going to miss him there are a ton of you out there that're going to miss him just as much!

Today's his last shift, so make sure you pop in to harass him on his last regular shift behind the bar! That'll also be the perfect opportunity to meet Elise, who has flown all the way from France to take over as the new Porirua Taproom Manager.

Also keep your eyes peeled for a special celebration of Will which will (haha get it?) be happening next Saturday the 3rd.
