Did you know that East Coast Charters is also a cycle taxi?!

We provide 'on demand' trips to and from the Otago Peninsula! The "Vivienne J" can take up to 12 bikes on board, electric and non-electric!

Trips to/from Portobello one way: $15 for rider+bike, $12 for child+bike
(Minimum 4 bikes per trip, or min $60)

Trips to/from Wellers Rock one way: $20 for rider+bike, $15 for child+bike
(Minimum 4 bikes per trip, or min $80)

East Coast Charters and Otago Water Taxis are teaming up to offer water taxi services for the 2023 Port Chalmers Seafood Festival from Portobello, Wellers Rock, Broad Bay and MacAndrew Bay. Hop on the ‘Vivienne J’ or the ‘Protector’ and cruise across the Otago Harbour, taking in the beautiful views as you make your way to the festival. Our water taxis provide a convenient and efficient way to reach the festival without worrying about traffic or parking.

**Please note that our drop off point is Back Beach Port Chalmers which is approximately a 10 minute walk to the festival.
