After enduring a very, very, very long travel day from Morondava to Antsirabe. We we had a fabulous visit to Tritriva lake and a look around the city. Next stop Ranomafana National Park.

Morondava lies on the west coast of Madagascar, 400km off Mozambique. It’s got a completely different feel here, more laid back beach vibes. The fishing village we vistas fascyeven seeing how the traditional fishing boats are built.

Staying at beautiful Relais du Kirindy lodge, we had birds diving into the pool to cool off, up close and personal lemur sightings, and a spectacular sunset at a local group of baobabs.

Planting baby Baobabs was a special moment at the Avenue of the Baobabs. We also visited the Zazamalala reforestation project, home to several species of Lemurs and chameleons.

Madagascar continues to amaze us!
Exploring Big Tsingy was more than we had ever imagined. In all my travels I’ve never experienced anything like this. The photos just don’t do it justice.
We topped off the day with a beautiful village tour at sunset.

Loved staying in the hot and sandy town of Bekopaka. The jumping off point for the amazing Tsingy National Park. Had a morning in dugout canoes, then exploring the amazing Little Tsingy.
