This week, we had the honour of hosting former Sydney Commonwealth Games Paralympian, Nikki Hughes, on our Milford Sound Fly-Cruise-Fly along with her Husband Cían, and baby Arlo.

Working alongside our friends at .co.nz we’re passionate about championing and nurturing inclusive tourism to ensure incredible experiences are open to everyone.

It was a pleasure to share this journey with someone so inspiring!

🌊✈️ Air Milford Takes Aircraft Ditching Training to the Pool! 🛩️💦

Safety is always our top priority, and to prepare for the unexpected, we recently took part in an immersive aircraft ditching training—right in the pool! 🏊‍♂️

This week we were named one of New Zealand’s fastest growing businesses for 2024! We are thrilled to announce that we secured 11th place on the Deloitte Fast 50 index, & also took home the award for the lower South Island’s fastest growing retail/consumer products business.

This is determined by revenue growth percentage, it recognises businesses who are the fastest growing companies over the last three years.

In the face of challenging weather and an unexpected last-minute road closure into Milford Sound, our 'wet weather plan' was thrown into disarray. But thanks to our pilots' quick thinking, our guests enjoyed an unplanned yet unforgettable adventure! ✈️ Instead of Milford Sound, we flew to Te Anau Downs, where they embarked on a scenic cruise aboard the historic Faith on Lake Te Anau. The journey even included a guided walk to the hidden lakes before flying back to Queenstown. This impromptu trip was a nod to Hank's parents, who ran similar tours back in the 1960's🌿🚤
