**Walks in Queenstown during winter require caution and preparation. Be sure you're well-equipped with appropriate gear, including sturdy footwear, warm clothing, and extra layers. Always check the forecast before you go, check out the latest track conditions from Department of Conservation, and let someone know where you're heading and be prepared to turn back if the trail condition or weather deteriorates.**
