Lupin season is just around the corner. They will be in full bloom from late November till the end of December.
The best place to spot the lupins in New Zealand is South Island’s Mackenzie Basin.
The Mackenzie Basin is located between Christchurch and Queenstown and includes Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki, Twizel, and Omarama.

Have you tried night skiing at Coronet peak?
Ski Coronet Peak 4-9pm on Wednesday and Friday nights from 3 July – 1 Sept and the three school holiday Saturdays in July, subject to conditions.
Check out epic sunsets overlooking Queenstown before you send it down wide floodlit trails with your mates. Experience après ski with hot pizza, hot chocolate, craft beer from our friends at Canyon Brewery or catch a mulled wine on the deck beside a roaring fire while the DJ spins tunes.
Night Ski is a bucket list activity when you come to Queenstown this winter. Big beats, great vibes, good times. Night Ski operates subject to weather conditions.
The night ski pass is $85 for adults, and $65 for children.

Another magical sunset in Queenstown.
The best season of the year in Queenstown is here!
The New Zealand Kea, the world’s only alpine parrot is known as the ‘Clown of the Alps’ to South Islanders; and has recently been heralded as the world’s smartest bird (its intelligence rivals a monkey’s) says the Institute of Cognitive Biology in Vienna.
