Introducing Ben Cooper - Line Pilot

Ben grew up in Dunedin, but now calls Arrowtown home. Ben made his return to the Glenorchy Air Team in 2023 after a short stint overseas, he's realised that Central Otago is the place to be and you'll mostly find him flying one of our our two Cessna 208B Grand Caravan Ex's. When he's not busy flying he can be found hiking or playing golf.

After days of flying over some of the most isolated parts of the world, our Operations Manager Megan, ferry pilot John Smith and N321KD have arrived safely on New Zealand shores. Now in Wanaka at Performance Aviation, her new registration will become ZK-KDI once she receives regulatory approval shortly.

Introducing Joseph Allen-Perkins - Line Pilot

Originally from the Canterbury Plains, Joseph has decided he prefers Otago Planes and made the move south in 2023.

Known to the team as ‘Perky,’ he began his journey with us as a Ground Operations Assistant before stepping into the cockpit of our GA8 Airvan, and more recently, the Daher Kodiak 100.

You'll frequently find Joseph behind a guitar, in the squash court, or in his garage under his car which he works on in his spare time.

As the team’s resident joker, Joseph brings the mahi but keeps the good vibes flowing!

We're adding a second Kodiak 100 to Fleet
Queenstown, NZ:

The 2022 Daher Kodiak 100 Series III, manufactured in Sandpoint, Idaho, USA, will join our existing fleet, which along with our series II Kodiak, includes two Cessna Grand Caravan EX's and GippsAero GA8 increasing our turbine fleet to 4!
