We are running a quick giveaway to brighten up your week. It is a tough time for Ruapehu Resident's at the moment.

I love living here, and love the people who live in our area.
One of our regular laundry users often pops in for a chat, and reminds me of what makes this place so special. He brings in a huge bag of veges, with enough parsnips, carrots brussel sprouts, and swede to feed our whole team! A huge part of living in the Ruapehu is Manaakitanga, and sharing whatever you have to give, often asking for nothing in return.

Let us know what you love about living in Ruapehu, and the two positive comments with the most likes will be the winners, drawn this Friday afternoon. Winner must be a resident in the Ruapehu. The items are from a NZ owned outdoor clothing company named Kaiwhakangau, and we love wearing ours on these cold and wet days! We have the prizes on site at the Holiday Park so will let the winner know when to call in and pick them up ;)

Ben & I are at the Holiday Park Conference in Wellington. Looking at a few different suppliers : o the Tangerpay looks like a really good option,giving a choice of coins or eftpos in washing machines and not too expensive to install (compared to some other options) 😬 and interesting discussion with different mattress suppliers. We need longer lasting comfort, but also light enough that our cleaners don't strain their backs to make beds 🀩 Nice to look at different products and catch up with other Holiday Park owners

We just got back from a mini adventure on the Hauraki Rail Trail. It was a great little get away - so awesome to stay at other Holiday Parks and check out their facilities (loved the hot pools, tubs, and spa baths!! Kia ora everyone, we hope you are all coping ok with this Lockdown. We are in a fairly lucky position to be sitting on a beautiful walking track, and we have plenty of space to get away from each other 🀣 Mt Ruapehu is going to remain closed until Level Two, so at this stage our plan is to remain closed until then too. We don't have any self contained units which makes it difficult to open any sooner. However, our Laundromat is still open. Please follow Social distance guidance, sign in, and wear a mask when near others.
