*Wild West Coast Wanderer* - We have some exciting news! We have added a new tour this year and have 2 of them commencing very soon.

Travel over the Arthur Pass and explore the majestic scenery and hidden gems of “the Coast” including the Denniston Plateau, Blackball, Napoleon Hill, and the Haast area. This 7 day, 8 night tour will finish in Wanaka area.

We have a couple of spaces left on our upcoming 25th April 2023 and 14th May 2023 tours so please contact us if you are interested in hearing more.
Alternatively please let us know if you would like to be added to the mailing list for 2024 dates for this tour when they are set :)

If you are looking at booking with us next year please get in touch now we only have limited dates left. We have had to cancel some of our tours when the Covid-19 level 4 came into place which means a lot of these people have been re booked into 2021.

***Last Minute Cancellation*** Unfortunately due to illness we have had a couple cancel on a "South Island High Country Grandslam" tour, with an arrival in Blenheim on the 20th Feb 2019 and finishing after breakfast on the 28th Feb. If you do not have your own vehicle you can be a passenger in the guide vehicle, an 8 night holiday with all meals, accommodation and track fees supplied........get in quick its on a first in first serve basis on this very popular tour. ⏳⏳⏳

We are nearing the end of the season for the year with a couple of groups still to go through, that means we have started to work on the dates for the fully guided tours for 2018. The first guests on our new Grandslam Tour on day 3 of their 7 day trip. Today they are up the the Rakaia River , a beautiful day after some wind and rain.

North Canterbury Earthquake Update:

An update for everyone on the recent EQ in North Canterbury.

For our "Heart of the High Country" and "Mackenzie Country Explorer" there is no issues in accommodation our tracks. The only change that could be possible is the route you take to get the start of your tour if coming from the top of the South Island or off the ferry at Picton (see below for NZTA link to keep up to date with road closures)

For our "South Island High Country Grand Slam" tour we have made contact with all our accommodation in Blenheim and Hanmer Springs (aswell as the rest of the tour) and they have come through with no damage and all open for business .

The only area of concern at the moment is from Blenheim through to Molesworth itself as at this stage there is a slip on the road up the Awatere Valley blocking the road. They hope to have it cleared within a week or so as some of the run holders up there are still cut off hence why they have closed Molesworth from the Hamner end as well.

All going well this will all be sorted before our first tour starting in January, we will keep you all posted as we get updated.

Only 6 spots left on the Grandslam Tours! we have now created a new date arriving in Blenheim on the 19th March which we have spaces left for 4 people. Our April tour was full but due to a couple changing their date to the March tour we now have 2 spots left on the 6th April tour. Please contact us for more information if interested in any of these dates.

We have received a brilliant response for our new tour the "South Island High Country Grand Slam" an eight night tour that starts in Blenheim and ends in the Wanaka/Cardrona area. Our three Grand Slam tours for this season are now fully booked. We are now looking at a possibility of a fourth date if there is enough interest, this date would be for an arrival of the 19th March 2017 and there would only be a limited amount of spaces (8 people). If you are interested in this date please contact us for further information and to secure your spot!

"Great Mackenzie Country & Central Otago Explorer" tour dates commencing on the 3rd February, 10th February & 7th March 2017. $2100 per person based on twin share/double includes all meals, accommodation for 6 days and 7 nights & track access fees.

"South Island High Country Grand Slam" tour date commencing on the 20th February 2017. $2400 per person based on twin share/double includes all meals, accommodation for 7 days and 8 nights & track access fees.
