🇬🇧 We're feeling a bit envious here in the depths of the NZ winter seeing our Kiwi farmers into their first week of our annual UK & Ireland tour.

After a burst of bustling London, our group has been exploring the pretty countryside and coastlines of Devon and Cornwall and now onto Bath. A great first insight into life and farming in England - next stop Wales!

🍗This little piggy is pretty special...

Our tour in Spain recently visited an enterprise producing high quality Iberian cured ham.

These famous Iberian Black Pigs are only found in Spain and Portugal.
Their special diet (of acorns, cereals and pasture) and the fact that they can freely roam makes the meat one of the most delicious meats in the world.

Unlike what we are familiar with, the meat is red and the standout is the flavoured fat 👌

📍Our Japan group is now in Nagano - known for the 1998 Winter Olympics.
Nagano is possibly just as well known for Soba noodles, wasabi and miso growing, first class rice and …..snow monkeys 🙉 🙈🙊

🇯🇵 Our Japan tour is well underway in Tokyo with our group led by Miyuki and Kirstie, from Farm To Farm Tours.

It's been a great start to this 2.5 week trip with exploring the city and getting amongst the culture.

🍚🥩They head off to the Kurikoma region next, visiting wagyu and rice farming operations.
