I chose this quote as when I reflect on some of my most memorable travels, I realise that it's not just the places I’ve visited that stand out—it's the moments that came together along the way.

What is the most memorable itinerary you have booked?
One of my most memorable itineraries is an itinerary that hasn't even departed yet! This story is about some wonderful clients I met three months ago when I joined World Travellers. Over the course of our time working together, they’ve now booked their third trip with me!
What makes this journey so special isn't just about the destination. It's the ongoing process of creating their dream vacations, catching up with them each time they visit the office, and hearing about the updates in their lives. As the itinerary grows with new details, so does the relationship, and that’s what makes this journey feel so personal and rewarding.
It’s a reminder that the joy is found in the connections, the experiences, and the anticipation of what’s to come.

What are your top destination picks for 2025?
As someone who has travelled to over 70 different countries, narrowing down my favourite destinations is no easy task. Each place has its own charm, but here are a few that I always recommend:
1. Hawaii: A fun girls' trip that combines shopping, stunning beaches, and delicious cocktails. I love sipping Mai Tai’s on Waikiki, exploring the surf on the North Shore, and soaking in the laid-back atmosphere.
2. Greece (Santorini): If you're looking for romance, Santorini is it. Wandering through the picturesque cobblestone streets and ending your day at Oia, watching the sun set over the caldera, is something that never gets old.
3. South Africa (Cape Town): If adventure and wildlife are calling, Cape Town delivers. From hiking up Table Mountain to dining at Ocean Basket and taking a scenic drive to the Cape of Good Hope, this destination is full of life and beauty.

What are some Upcoming Destinations to Watch?
For those of you looking for the next great adventure, here are a few destinations on my radar that I’m excited to help plan:
• Tasmania – A nature lover’s paradise, with rugged landscapes, wildlife, and pristine beaches.
• Malta – Steeped in history, this Mediterranean gem offers everything from ancient ruins to stunning coastal views.
• U.A.E – A place where modern luxury meets traditional culture, from the skyscrapers of Dubai to the golden deserts of Abu Dhabi.

On behalf of the team, we wish you a happy and healthy festive season. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you in 2025.
As we wind down for Christmas, travel never sleeps, and our customers are never on their own. We always have someone on call to help for travel emergencies.

We have staff available throughout the holiday period and any of the branches are able to assist you for general enquiries.

Our office hours over the Christmas break are:
Monday 23rd December - 9.30am - 4.30pm
Tuesday 24th December - Friday 3rd January- CLOSED
Monday 6th January - Normal hours resume

Urgent Travel assistance
If you are travelling or you have travel booked over the holiday period and you need urgent assistance please refer to your travel documentation for contact details. Call out fees may apply.

In the case of last minute flight schedule changes, please work with the airline concerned and allow them time to find you new travel arrangements. If possible please give them this time prior to contacting us for assistance as often times they have solutions we cannot see our end.

Meet Lindsay, Senior Travel Consultant based in Rolleston.

To Lindsay, this quote hits home for why he does what he does. It is about finding joy for his clients to experience something they have never done, or somewhere they have never been.

What has been your most memorable itinerary you have booked?
"My favourite itinerary I put together is my Barcelona Package. It is three days of exploring this Spanish city, with culture. Their first morning is spent exploring Barcelona at their leisure, before they head off for an afternoon excursion to Montserrat. This includes a cog wheel train ride up the mountain to the monastery and surrounds. Whether they explore the sanctuary, view the Black Madonna, taste some Spanish aperitif or sit and listen to the boys choir as they practice, it is about peaceful relaxing. The second day, they tour around Barcelona, looking at the artworks and architecture of Barcelona’s Gaudi. This includes visits to Park Guell, the mosaic gardens, Sagrada Familia, the unfinished cathedral and Casa Batlló with it’s amazing architecture. The last day is at their leisure until they are ready to depart for their next destination.

What are your top destination picks for 2025?
I believe this will be Europe, but more in-depth Europe, not tourist Europe. People who have travelled before and want to spend more time in-country.
We are also see a lot more experiential cruising including expedition cruising.

Are there any up and coming destinations?
South America is making a comeback, also Central America is starting to show more interest.
