We were lucky enough to attend the Matariki dinner tonight held in a marquee at the Rotorua Airport as part of the business MEETINGS event held in Rotorua.
Entertainment was amazing from local singers including Nikau Grace to NZ Artist Holly Smith.
The Rotorua NZ Business team have knocked the Events out of the park this week and all in attendance have been in awe.
Tonight was no different... amazing. We were the first in NZ to see this amazing drone light show over the airspace at Rotorua Airport. It was breathtaking with lots shedding tears with how emotional it was.
I can't show it all as the video was over 11 mins but here is a snippet. If you can make it to the Lakefront on Matariki to watch don't miss it.
So turns out one of our team members has had a bit of fun over the weekend creating some content for our page. Check out Aaron's work below!

Wow, we got back this week from a long overdue holiday with our family.
One of our highlights was a tour we booked whilst our cruise ship was in port at Vanuatu.
We booked a tour with Yumi Tours and Transfers in Vanuatu (privately as opposed to through the ship).
We were met at the port by Phillip (owner) and his team and sent off with Alfred our tour guide and Able our driver.
Couldn't have asked for a better day. First stop was the duty free shop. Vanuatu has some of the cheapest duty free around and we were taken to the best shop.
Next up a visit to the Turtle Sanctuary. This was incredible, turtles of all ages and sizes, lizards, bats, coral walk .... very cool experience. Got to hold turtles and lizards.
After that we headed to the Blue Lagoon. WOW it was an incredible swimming lagoon. The water was crystal blue. There were rope swings, bridges, jumping platforms and the water was deep enough to enjoy it and cool off.
We didn't know it but our tour included a beautiful island style BBQ. Phillip and his wife Jane were there to meet all our needs and it didn't disappoint.
After lunch we headed to the Cascades which was a river with lots of water falls. This tour went to a private property so less crowded which was great. There were tyres to slide down the rock waterfalls or you could just bob around in the river.
We then headed in to the local markets where there were the usual crafts and souvenirs and next door an incredible fresh food market ... fresh coconut water which was delish!
So if you are ever heading over there for a holiday or spending a day in Port please make contact with Phillip and the team.
Nothing was too much trouble, Alfred was a wealth of knowledge and being in the industry we asked loads of questions as we genuinely wanted to know about the island.
