We had a school group take a trip to the Maori Rock Carvings this week from Te Kura o Kimi Ora. Kākāriki is perfect with its large cabin on drizzly days. Fortunately for this group the sun came out later in the trip.

A Stag group included a visit to the MaoriRock Carvings while out enjoying the lake. They caught it as the sun was starting to set.
Sunset trips start on Monday and go until March.

We took a wonderful family from Singapore fishing last week. Caught 2 beautiful rainbow trout and cooked 1 for them on the BBQ. I hope they found someone to cook the other one for them.
