Pretty special weekend meat hunt with generations of hunters ! Maxim got his first blood along side his Father and Grandfather which were super proud . Well we have had a fantastic roar and it’s been awesome being on the hills over the last few weeks !! So good seeing what’s up and coming for next roar too - some great young stuff coming up . What a weekend !! Wet , sweaty , hot and cold but these guys returned to Auckland refreshed after a great catch up . Heard a few stags late in the evenings and at night so it’s all exciting going forward !!!
Took grasshopper to work today to see what it’s all about . High rivers made for hard crossings but the Cicadas were on the menu and made for some keen trout to the net !

Despite some average shooting 🤦♂️ we still managed to send Richard home with a bin full of venny!! Hinds are away in the bush with fawns at the moment but they should re appear shortly.
Another quick overnight trip for prime venison . I’m very lucky to have these guys as clients- we always have a great time. Back on the hills tomorrow!!
