Ten years ago I set my sights on surf and snow trips. In 2023 .trips.nz (or would it be more like EASY TRANSFERS?) celebrates 10 years of life (about 8 here in New Zealand) transporting literally hundreds of people regularly… Most foreigners who arrive here on a work visa, which gives me extra pleasure for "I know how it feels" reasons.

We still do a lot of tours! But I'm 90% a driver and 10% a guide (10% being generous… I was never a fan of that conventional style… If you read the description of the original business… the idea was actually to stay away from “boring tour guides”. But there are those who like it !) I have the greatest pleasure in providing transport solutions to these professionals. Also I am not the biggest enthusiast of the tour-driver model (maybe for smaller groups works well). Each one focusing on their role works much better even for the customers! Want to know about vehicle? How many seats? Luggage? Extra luggage? Oversized items? Need a luggage trailer? We have it! Bigger trailer? We have the contact of those who have. Buses for huge groups? We have access to them! Bus + Van? We do! Private for small groups? We do it too! Extra driver? We have a list! (By the way, don't you want to get a passenger endorsement on your drivers license? hehe Exciting work shifts guaranteed!

We picked these guys up in Auckland Airport when they arrived in NZ earlier this year with the mission of contributing with the kiwi fruit industry.

After months of hard work and being extremely well looked after by our client Southern Cross Horticulture, it’s time to fly back home in Vanuatu and reunite with their families with lots stories and experiences to share.

This is one of the beauties of our work.

Our pick ups and drop offs can be either in hotels (the one in the 1st photo is in the busy Auckland) or, like the one this morning, in a holiday park in Te Puke, next to Tauranga in the Bay Plenty region… 😀

Definitely a good way the stay away from boringness! 😎
