Hello from the team at Cruise Tours Tauranga. We thought it was about time to say we are still here and yes we are still waiting to hear when cruise ships will return to NZ and Australian waters. It looks unlikely for this coming 2021/2022 season with Covid issues remaining a problem in Australia however we are ever hopeful. For now we are busy with domestic NZ tours via our sister business www.hinterlandtours.co.nz so if you're coming to NZ and would like to join one of our tours please get in touch. We would love to host you.

The Carnival Legend arrived into Tauranga for the first time this season and we had Emma, Tony, Shantelle and Gaius from Sydney with us on the Rotorua Naturally Tour. Kiwi360 was a favourite of the day.

2016 had a wet start but spirits were high on the Custom tour with Steve and Co from Melbourne who were sailing on the Sea Princess. They had a great time at Whakawerawera Living Maori Village, then we headed off for White Water Rafting and finished off with a Jetboat on Lake Rotorua. They were a tired but happy bunch at the end of the day...... and the sun came out then too :)

We had a full day with Evi, John, Sydney and Nicholas from California. It was all action for them on their custom tour with Karen. We began the day with the Ogo, then it was off for a few Luge rides at the Skyline, a quick look around Rotorua before heading to Hells Gate for a mud bath experience. A muddy great day was had by all!!

It was a busy end to 2015 and the cruising season is now in full swing. We have had some amazing tours this season so far and the weather has mostly been kind to us. Here are some highlights from our end of year tours!! People are LOVING a soak of their feet in the mineral foot baths!

Susanna had a spur of the moment trip to Taupo with Jackie, Tracy, Anita and Sandra who contacted us off the ship. Gotta love technology!! Jackie used to live there and so did Susanna so they had a trip down memory lane. The views of the 3 volcanic mountains were spectacular and Huka Falls are always amazing!

The sun came out again on the 17th November when the Golden Princess arrived into Tauranga. We had 7 from Melbourne on the popular Rotorua Discovery Tour. Pohutu Geyser put on a spectacular display.

Our first wet day of the season was on the 16th November when the Celebrity Solstice was in Port. My lovely group of Belgians were very good spirited and we had a fun day despite the weather! Here is the group at Wai-o-Tapu mud pool in Rotorua.

Dawn and Milton from Stockton USA had a great day exploring Rotorua. First to Whakarewarewa the Living Maori Village and then to the Polynesian Spa for a soak in the Thermal Pools. They loved seeing the green stone carving in the village and Dawn bought a special piece. We had a great day together and the weather was perfect.... again!!
