About Packrafting New Zealand / Expedition X
We offer small exclusive group wilderness expeditions using a combination of hiking and rafting with small lightweight inflatable boats (packrafts). Our mission is to take people into wilderness areas to enjoy the environment on the environment's own terms,. This means that we are not mass market, we don’t take a million tourists into the wilderness and still call it the wilderness! Our group numbers are restricted to a maximum of 6 people. This means that we can leave as few traces as possible and avoid disturbing the natural environment that we enjoy and love so much.
Our philosophy is that a small group will leave a smaller footprint on the environment and a bigger footprint in your heart. As a participant in a small group you will experience an unparalleled New Zealand wilderness adventure. We offer you the chance to be part of the wilderness environment rather than just being an observer.
