Pleasant Point Railway are open this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) if you are looking for something to do with the children

We are open this Easter Saturday and Sunday, Kiwi The Engine And Friends are back this Easter Weekend, Saturday & Sunday, 19th - 20th April, 10:30am - 4:00pm.
Come along to Pleasant Point to ride on Kiwi the Engine plus Tana the Tuatara, Polly the Pukeko, and Percy Penguin carriages, with a special appearance from the Wally Weta Railcar.
Plenty to keep the whole family entertained over Easter with a bouncy castle, free face painting, and free popcorn. Kiwi will be giving out Easter eggs to the kids.
Merchandise in the souvenir shop for the Kids to join in with Kiwi.
$8 for kids over 3, $16 for adults, Family ticket $45.

The T1, T2 and T3 Metro school buses in Timaru in 2025 will start on the 29th January.
The Temuka Service bus will start picking up and dropping off at Timaru schools on the same day (Wednesday 29th January).
However, if there are students from Temuka on the Temuka Service AM run before the 29th, the driver will drop them up to the school.
