Our Story

Looking for a relaxing holiday in one of the most scenic parts of New Zealand? You will appreciate this "kiwi" Lockwood bach. Suitable for any large family or just a couple to enjoy a relaxing break The space If you want a truly NZ bach experience, with no fancy "up to the minute" modcons, this could be you. This bach has been in our family for over 30 years. It contains many family memories. We are happy to share this with you, but ask that you respect personal property. Being a solid timber house, you will find the home has a few creaks and groans when heating up or cooling down! But the view of the Lake from our living area is unmatched. Our outside deck areas have seating and tables for eating or just sitting around. Motuoapa has lots of areas to walk in wide open spaces.
