A mythical place of extraordinary adventure, Mongolia is a big deal for the pursuit of 10lb+ Taimen on a dry fly.

We’re arranging small group trips to Ulaanbaatar, the Mongolian capital, via Seoul (South Korea), where we meet our co-host and travel onto our final river destinations.

We plan to fly into Mongolia for our first six person trip in 2023, so if you want to get your name down (one of two trips to Mongolia at this time), just PM us for details. If we get sufficient interest for late-2022 trips, we can move some dates forward to accommodate anglers' requests, subject to any travel restrictions.

Please remember 'registrations on interest' are on a first come, first confirmed basis so pencil your name with us and get first chance to confirm when we send out itineraries later this year.

Argentine Patagonia has a remarkable range of river systems. Its rivers are packed with big Browns, feisty Rainbows and some Brook Trout for good measure.

We’re heading there in November 2022 right at the start of their new season to focus on the big Browns, 8lb+, working in with a local guiding company.

We’re talking spring creeks and small freestone streams for this 8 day expedition. Flying into Buenos Aires and onto San Martin, we’ve tracked down a small lodge suitable for half a dozen anglers half an hour from the domestic airport.

This is not South American jungle fishing, rather New Zealand-style wet wading with dries and droppers.

Back at the lodge, think slow roasted beef and fine local Malbec wines. There are comfortable twin occupancy lodge cabins so pack your pj’s!

We’ll be there for some early season action, well before the water levels drop for summer and the fishing gets a whole lot harder.

This is a great trip to reward yourself for getting through 2021-22 and celebrating our chance to travel internationally again. PM us to indicate your interest.

We hope you’re enjoying our page and savouring the fishing opportunities around the world.

In 2022, we’re hoping to be able to fly internationally again. To travel to some of the legendary and remote places where angling dreams become reality.

If you are keen to learn more about our coming trips in Aitutaki (Cook Islands), or to Fanning Island in search of big bonefish, please make contact. Send us a private message and we’ll add you to our list of adventurous anglers who are in search of a new challenge.

All our trips are tailored for a few and no more than six including an host - either one of us or a carefully selected and experienced international angler. Every trip is booked on a ‘first in - first fishing’ basis.

If you’re new to saltwater fly fishing and have your beloved tagging along, it’s hard to beat Belize for fantastic flats, great accommodation choices and plenty of chill-out, or stay-busy choices, for your non-angling companion.

There are many accommodation options in the mainstream spots in Northern or Southern Belize, but consider heading to one of the newer areas opening up, like Caye Caulker with its tarpon and deeper-water permit for instance, as they are likely to experience less angler & guide pressure.

Have you ever considered fishing the Reisa River in Norway?

This spectacular salmon water contains some of the world’s largest Atlantic Salmon – with regular catches of 20 kg (44 lbs) fish caught on the fly.

Arguably the most beautiful salmon river anywhere on earth, the headwaters of the Reisaelva start in the northern Troms and Finnmark county and cuts through more than 86km (53 miles) of densely forested, narrow and rugged Norwegian mountain valley that includes one of Northern Europe’s highest waterfalls.

You fly into Sørkjosen Airport and are delivered to your riverside lodging by riverboat. Fishing is divided between upper and lower river, with two anglers per boat/guide. Prepare for huge strong salmon and a constant flow of breath-taking scenery.

We’ll be based at one of the top fishing lodges for this 7 day fully-guided fishing trip, with a few nights out in luxury tents, under the watchful eye of our experienced co-hosting team (including a chef) to make sure we get the most out of this crazy expedition.

The ultimate in destination fly fishing might well be found in the Bolivian Amazon, chasing Golden Dorado in the small jungle fisheries of the Sécure River headwaters where Macaw swoop overhead amongst the myriad of other vibrant birds and butterflies.

You’ll have a chance to fish for Pacu (freshwater permit) and – further downstream for the Yatorana (Brycon Amazonicus) that are regarded as the most powerful fish in the Tsimane watershed.

Tierra del Fuego means ‘land of fire’. For fly anglers, this archipelago off the southernmost tip of South America means fishing on the Rio Grande during the world’s largest and most consistent migrations of sea-run brown trout up to 20 pound in weight.

If chasing 10lb Bonefish as one of only six anglers on untouched Tabuaeran, Fanning Island, in the Republic of Kiribati in 2022 sounds like you, we're now taking bookings.

We’re organising our first exclusive group to visit Fanning Island in 2022 and will be emailing the list next week. Please private message us here, email or call to be part of this adventure, fishing Fanning Island with local guides.

We fly into Christmas Island (CXI) and onto Fanning Island after a brief layover, spend a week fishing the atoll (and outside the atoll if you're keen). Then back to CXI to chase more bones and GTs for a few days before flying back home - with memories, photos, and a tan.

Fanning Island is the ultimate remote bonefishing location on the planet so you won't want to miss out on these trips.

We’re here to take you and a few of our other mates into some pretty crazy places chasing trophy fish.

If you enjoy fishing in a small group of no more than two to six anglers and want to tick off some remote bucket list destinations, have a chat with us. We’re probably heading the same way.

We don't charge you a cent more than if you booked direct - and we aim to reduce your total cost of travel with some great deals we're negotiating with the lodge owners, travel operators and guiding services.

It's a great time to start planning for 2022 when travel restrictions will lift and we can finally tick a few more experiences off the bucket list.
