One of our favourite tour destinations, Hobbiton Movie Set.
It's hard to believe legendary New Zealand director and film maker, Sir Peter Jackson, saw this 12 acre farm in the heart of Waikato, New Zealand and envisaged the perfect location to film much of the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings trilogies.

A must see for any visitor to New Zealand, it really needs to be witnessed firsthand.
