Over the last couple of days I was able to enjoy the experience on Rarotonga, Cook Islands.
Getting out there and enjoying what the island has to offer. The weather, the beaches, the ☀️ and my favourite- the turtles. I booked the accommodation through the fabulous Experience Rarotonga where we stayed in the Vaianui villas. 2 bedroom self catering.
Walking distance to Muri Beach. We’ve watched the cultural fire show at Te Maeva Nui, taken a island bike tour, a snorkeling and island bbq trip with Captain Tama and Today was a special day as I got to snorkel with 🐢

This resort just keeps getting better. Talk about making me feel special. The restaurant had a birthday cake and all the staff sang and then when we got back to the villa they had decorated the bed. ❤️❤️❤️

Today I was given a tour of the resort by our wonderful butler (yes, they have given us a butler 😊). He is there to book tours/restaurants and to pick us up from our water villa and take us anywhere on the island. A truly lovely kind hearted man who works all the hours with only a break after 6 months!!
Here are some photos of this beautiful resort. So if you are keen to come and visit as a couple, family or surfer please let me know. They have room types for everyone. Interconnecting villas for families. Surfing packages for surfers and diving for those keen to get under the water.

Singapore 🇸🇬 you have been fantastic as always! We wish we were here longer. Such a beautiful place to be with lots to see and do. From eating at the top of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel - Spago, to the Domes in Gardens of the Bay, the shopping, the friendly people, the cleanliness. We will be back.
Stayed at the Swissotel Stamford. 55th floor. Views to die for.

Our time in Phuket is over, now on to Singapore for a couple of nights.
Definitely happy with the hotel choice, Katathani Phuket Resort. Hotel stunning and staff are very friendly and welcoming

As part of NZTB I believe we have to be animal conscious and only sell ethical products to our clients.
Today we went to the Elephant Rescue Sanctuary Phuket which is run by Cam a New Zealander. He brought the reserve with the hopes to save the female elephants and make people aware of the cruelty the tourists attractions inflict on them. Elephants do not want to be ridden , they do not want to be bathed. They are chained under the water where you can’t see them so they can have 10-20 people washing them at a time. When they sway, they aren’t dancing, they are stressed.
If you want to get up close and personal in the natural environment I 💯 recommend this rescue centre.
This was no touching, no bathing.
Just watching them feed, learning how the centre recycles their dung to make fertiliser and paper. The animals are happy and well treated. No ⛓️ chains or sticks.

Sawadee Ka from Phuket, Thailand.
Arrived with Singapore airlines. 10 hours 50 from Auckland to Singapore and then 2 hours hope over the Thailand. Highly recommend Premium economy in Air NZ. Plenty of legroom and the food and drink service was fab. The staff knew I was celebrating my birthday of this trip and made me feel extra special on the flight. Something I always do for my clients when travelling, just making the airlines aware. More photos of the trip to come.
