INTENDED ITINERARY: - some long voyages ahead
Kimberley’s, Great Barrier Reef – Australia.
Fiordland, Bay of Islands and Stewart Island - New Zealand
South Pacific and Tahiti
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE a must
PLEASE NOTE this is a Foreign Going Commercial Passenger Ship. Crew qualification requirements are very specific, any applicants MUST supply a High-res scan of their Certificate of Competency
COC must state STCW Qualification
AB's.............. STCW 11/5
Chief Mate......... STCW 11/2
OOW ........ STCW 11/1 or STCW 11/2
Chief Engineer ... STCW 111/2 or 111/3
* Deck Officers and ABs also require Passenger ship safety training, Crowd Control and Crisis Management STCW Reg V/2
* Deck officers also must have Generic ECDIS certificate
* Chef and House crew must have minimum STCW basic safety training Regulation VI/1
If these codes are not noted on the applicants COC, they are not qualified to the required standard.
No other qualifications are acceptable.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
* CHIEF ENGINEER – 995 GT
Engine: 6-cylinder Cats, driving generators. The drive is electric Azi - Brand New.
C Eng will mainly be doing general engineer duties. No big jobs like replacing cylinder liners at sea.
Must have the C Eng has the correct STCW qualifications as listed above
And passenger ship safety training - takes about max 6 hours online with AMC
* 2ND ENGINEER
* HEAD CHEF – excel in menu planning, provisioning, being organized, experienced, confident and capable of café style food for 32 guests and 14 crew
* SOUS CHEF – as above
* CHIEF STEWARDESS - Self-explanatory – 17 Suites, 32 Passengers – and all that comes with it; service, housekeeping, laundry, round the clock rosters.
* 2ND STEWARDESS
* 2 SERVICE/ HOUSE-KEEPING STEWARDESSES
* 4 X DECKHANDS – Able Seafarer Deck (AB Deck)
as noted above
Must be experienced – no junior deckhands need apply – due to the requirements of survey
Additional to maintaining the vessel – included is tender driving, assist with fishing, kayaks, etc… and throughout the boats as may be required.
AB’s are required to bridge watch through the night
