The Log Cabin is a peaceful 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday home, with a hot spa, fully equipped kitchen and large dining and lounge area. Set off the beaten track on 12 acres of land along side a river with swimming holes.

Please sign this petition! A new quarry is being proposed on our doorstep, which will no doubt affect the peace and tranquility in our piece of paradise.

Help us protect the Waitawheta River and our local ecosystem. A proposed Waikato quarry could have far reaching damage on a special area if the council allows it to proceed.

To our wonderful guests, we want to let you know that we have decided to close this year from mid April to mid October. After completing extensive work on the outside of the home over last year, it is time to show some love to the inside 😍.

On this beautiful day, we feel so incredibly grateful that the Cyclone impact on The Log Cabin was minimal, compared to what many of our extended community in Aotearoa are currently dealing with. Our hay is ready for picking up, to head to areas where it is desperately needed. Our hearts ache for all the suffering.

💚💚💚 Happy New Year from us at THE LOG CABIN!

What a year 2022 was! The Log Cabin was very busy, hosting both national and international guests that were families, couples, wedding groups, retreats, charities, walking groups and more. The feedback is always beautiful, a place where people find peace and joy, are restored and revived. See what our last guests of 2022 and first guests of 2023 have said. 💚

The Log Cabin also had a complete outside restoration make over, that took a lot longer than expected with the weather, but is now looking fab, thanks to Tui and his team at Tui's Painters.

We are excited to see what the New Year will bring! 💚💚💚
