Please sign this petition! A new quarry is being proposed on our doorstep, which will no doubt affect the peace and tranquility in our piece of paradise.

Help us protect the Waitawheta River and our local ecosystem. A proposed Waikato quarry could have far reaching damage on a special area if the council allows it to proceed.

Situated at the southern base of the Coromandel Peninsula and bordering the Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park, only a short 10 minute drive to Waihi, a pleasant 20 minute drive to beautiful Waihi Beach and an award winning restaurant, Falls Retreat a short drive away. With several deep swimming holes to bathe in, in the adjacent Waitawheta River and a large network of well maintained walking tracks from the boundary of the property, The Log Cabin is an excellent place to base yourselves whilst exploring the enchanting Southern Coromandel area.
