Kia ora, I would like to take a quick moment to introduce myself. My name is Tania and I have the wonderful job of being the new admin for the TKOT - Waikuku Beach Holiday Park, page. You may have seen some of my posts lately, usually accompanied by pictures in nature around our beautiful park. Autumn is a pretty time here and with the fantastic weather at the moment I will try and post a pic every day that I'm onsite, to reflect just that!

WARNING

We are in for the first significant rain of 2023 over the next few days, thankfully nowhere near the amount that has fallen on the North over the past 6 weeks.

However, given we have been extremely dry to date over the summer and the old drain infrastructure, we will likely get some localised flooding within the holiday park.

If needed, we will have cones in place as soon as practicable and we have contingency should any water 💦 be there at the end of the week.

A big thanks to the team this week as I have been out of action with a detached retina and associated surgery.

A few things have changed with Michelle joining us as Team Leader, Henrietta and I moving back to Christchurch in preparation for Deane moving into the house and a couple of new cleaners added to the roster.

The maintenance work in the dog friendly area is about to get underway, along with a few sites between middle and top.

We have the cabin floors booked for mechanical cleaning, new soap dispensers going into the amenity blocks and more mulching of the recent plantings.

Rex A and Nickolai will be regular weekly visitors helping out with the ground maintenance.

I hope to be up and about in a week or so but in the meantime if you need anything, contact the office and Michelle.
