Condensation can cause cosmetic damage, structural issues, and health problems due to excess moisture in your home. To address this, it's crucial that your windows and doors prevent moisture buildup on the inside of the window:

Double Glazing: We use Argon Gas and an Architectural Thermal Spacer® between the glass panes for superior insulation, reducing heat transfer.

Thermally-Broken Frames: Our ThermalHEART® frames feature a polyamide strip in the core, preventing heat transfer.

Passive Ventilation: Keeping windows slightly open during the day helps reduce condensation. Our awning and casement windows offer passive ventilation options that secure your windows while maintaining airflow.

With the new H1 energy efficiency standards making headlines, it's a good time to highlight the significance of using high-performing Low-E glass in your windows and doors.

Before the H1 changes, up to 50% of a home's heat loss occurred through its windows and doors. Incorporating AGP Architectural Glass Products Solux-E® (a Low-E glass with a U-value of 1.1) reduces the heat loss through the glass by c.60% when compared to standard double glazing, reducing the risk of condensation and mould growth for a warmer, drier, and healthier living environment.

Additionally, Solux-E® glass reduces heat gain by 34% compared to standard double glazing. This addresses recent concerns that H1 changes have made homes too hot, ensuring comfortable temperatures year-round.

We are looking for experienced aluminium fabricators to join our aluminium window and door company, which has recently relocated to a new purpose-built factory in Wainui, near Silverdale. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fresh and dynamic team.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in assembling, cutting, and machining to ensure consistent quality and timely completion of our aluminium joinery products.

Requirements:
*Proven experience in a similar role: Assembly, cutting and/or machining aluminium joinery
*Familiarity with Emmegi machining and/or APL suites
*Ability to read and interpret job sheets, shop drawings, and supplier manufacturing details
*Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to tasks
*Ability to handle heavy lifting
*Currently eligible to work in New Zealand
