Vortex Power Systems have advised that they are tentatively looking to commission their new site NE of Gisborne later this week. Their current proposal is to operate and activate the restricted airspace by NOTAM from 2pm on Thursday 18th of April until 7pm and again at 9am on Friday 19th of April until 5pm. REF AIP SUP 93/23.

Take note!!!!

November is a huge month for aviation in the Wairarapa. As well as Wings Over Wairarapa happening, there will be a major change in how we communicate with each other. With effect from the 30th of November 2023, the Wairarapa CFZ will come into being. Note that this is AFTER the Wings event. Watch this space for the opportunity to win the latest VNC chart book as part of making all users aware of this change.
