Mother Nature is often there to bear witness and hold space for the unfolding and peeling of layers, for one's journey back home.
Which is why every venue I choose to invite people into silence at, is a place of natural beauty, close to a forest, views or in the case of the most recent retreat in New Zealand - this mighty South island river.

Nature inspires, cleanses and reminds us that all unfolds in perfect timing and it's only the mind that rushes forward or lingers on.
In Nature all is present and all is in divine order.
And we are a part of that.

Where has summer gone!
Summer does not seem to have arrived this year. We have had few really hot days.
When the sun shines, we are quick to take advantage of the shade from the surrounding willow trees, or sit and relax on the lawn with our family and friends.
Watch from the sandy beach as our grandchildren paddle in the stream with its own little waterfall, take a quick dip in the sparkling cool water of The Hawer River.
A beautiful peaceful setting, great for small family gatherings or celebrations. Plenty of room for larger parties or marquee weddings.
We welcome all, big and small. Bring the family dog too.
Sit in the outside bath with a glass of wine, relax in front of the fire after a long day skiing.
