It is with great sadness that we advise the death of our beloved Tim at 4.35pm, Tuesday 17 October, peacefully at home surrounded by family with a helicopter parked outside his window.

As company founder, both Alpine Helicopters and Minaret Station were a realisation of his dreams. An exceptional man and a wonderfully exciting eighty-five years.

“Never let what you can’t do stop you doing what you can do.” -Tim Wallis.

A funeral followed by lunch will be held at Alpine Helicopters, Wānaka Airport, 12 noon Saturday 28 October 2023.
