Karori backing onto the skyline reserve. Unfamiliar to locals so I raced there to look as looks like her.
So please keep eyes peeled as I need more photos to know if it’s her or not.

Please help me find NUI.

I have this flyer that if you have a printer at home or office and want to print and hand out locally please do. I can also supply a hi res pdf file.

I will print more but I am one human alone on this mission and the more these posters are up on streets the better.

So please if you can help if even it’s printing one and placing on a pole on your street that would mean so much to me and my whānau.

If anyone knows any printers wabting up help print please let me know as I am running low of money and need to look at all options before I spend hundred more at printers .

Today the plan is to search around south Mākara coast. Sadly a tree is down blocking the entire access to South Mākara.

If this is NUI she will be tracking to my old whare on south Mākara road. Luckily the house is surrounded by people I know who are all looking out for NUI
so hope is alive, it will always be alive until I have her in my arms again.

Wish us luck as we search as it is taxing on the wairua searching for so many months and most of it totally alone crying as I search, crying as I call for her. The physical searching causes immense pain as reminds you you are without them.

Family members deserve for us to never ever give up as I’d hate anyone to give up on me if I was lost.

I am never going to give up on my NUI and the community is so wonderful and the new owner of my old house knows NUI so I have hope. I have to have hope.

Searching the bushes in Karori today as an incredible kind whānau alerted me to a cat that looks like NUI. Every lead I will follow. As NUI needs to home. No luck but I left a top just in case she returns as it could be her. I will not loose hope.

I wonder if NUI will walk back into her old home? This is our old entrance to the whare we left in early October. Grateful to know new owner was our old neighbour so knows NUI well and I pray she locks her in if she returns.

Tōkena is NUIS big brother and he protects the whare from intruders. He spends his days ensuring all other Tom’s stay away and has many battle scars to show for his security mahi . Our family needs NUI home NOW.
