UPDATE SIGHTING IS NOT NUI. It’s A lovely local cat that looks very similar. So greatful for people alerting me to any possible sightings.

Yesterday I got a tip of cat like NUI
Karori backing onto the skyline reserve. Unfamiliar to locals so I raced there to look as looks like her.
So please keep eyes peeled as I need more photos to know if it’s her or not.

National Geographic studied cats - One male cat roamed 3232 hectares, its home range the area of Gisborne. The most adventurous female cat roamed 2078 hectares; another stayed within 10 hectares.

Kia ora community

Please help me find NUI.

I have this flyer that if you have a printer at home or office and want to print and hand out locally please do. I can also supply a hi res pdf file.

I will print more but I am one human alone on this mission and the more these posters are up on streets the better.

So please if you can help if even it’s printing one and placing on a pole on your street that would mean so much to me and my whānau.

If anyone knows any printers wabting up help print please let me know as I am running low of money and need to look at all options before I spend hundred more at printers .

Thank you so much as one poster does help! She could be anywhere.

Today the plan is to search around south Mākara coast. Sadly a tree is down blocking the entire access to South Mākara.

If this is NUI she will be tracking to my old whare on south Mākara road. Luckily the house is surrounded by people I know who are all looking out for NUI
so hope is alive, it will always be alive until I have her in my arms again.

Wish us luck as we search as it is taxing on the wairua searching for so many months and most of it totally alone crying as I search, crying as I call for her. The physical searching causes immense pain as reminds you you are without them.

Family members deserve for us to never ever give up as I’d hate anyone to give up on me if I was lost.

Tip came in that ginger cat spotted on south coast of Mākara. This is not that far from my old whare in South Mākara road. Very grateful to know people at the batches and they are helping look.
I am never going to give up on my NUI and the community is so wonderful and the new owner of my old house knows NUI so I have hope. I have to have hope.
