We recently helped Wellington City Council improve public feedback to local government with design sprint methodology and a MVP.
WCC came to us with a problem. They had undertaken a research project to understand the challenges that exist in seeking public feedback on council initiatives. There were two key issues that came out of their findings — many Wellingtonians didn’t know how to give feedback on council projects, and if they did provide feedback, they were unsure if it would be valued and considered.

We were asked to do:
Help HELL customers (ourselves included) order and pay for pizza from their mobile devices.
What we delivered:
A mobile brand experience that contains the full HELL menu, with functionality that allows you to customise your order. The app saves preferences and with a few quick taps, can re-order your faves to be picked up or delivered straight to your door.
In this short video you see the ‘Your Favourite Sins’ functionality. Favourite Sins makes predictions based off your previous orders, so all your favourites are front and center for more efficient ordering.

The problem:
With the industry trending towards low and zero carbon mobility options the AA Smartfuel team were considering how could they maintain relevance with rapidly changing customer needs. AA Smartfuel needed help to evolve their offering to be part of every customer journey, no matter how the customer chooses to travel.
What we delivered:
The PK team undertook a UX Discovery and UX Design phase that informed an app design to allow for future non-fuel redemption offers and loyalty developments. The design also needed to be flexible enough to enable rapid scalability to bring new rewards partners on board – both at the front and back end of the product.
