It's been a busy few weeks at Ferry Road Cottage, Martinborough as we've welcomed guests from around the world! We're ready for our newest guests this afternoon...the sun is shining, french doors wide open and the hammock is hanging!

We love when our guests move our wooden figurine too...he looks like he's happy with 2023!

The NZ Cycle Tour is coming to Martinborough, and the Wairarapa! Enjoy fabulous cycling in stunning scenery...and base yourself at Ferry Road Cottage. When the cycling is over enjoy the tranquility and semi-rural surrounds; park up with a book, wine or beer; or trip around the Wairarapa area (including Cape Pallisre and Lake Ferry). The Cycle Tour starts this Sunday 22nd January with racing in Martinborough on Tuesday 24th - message us for Bach availability.

The newly refurbished Ferry Road Cottage has just become available for holiday stays for January and February (including Wellington Anniversary weekend and Waitangi weekend). Or come and visit us midweek and we'll shout you a bottle of beautiful Martinborough wine (when booked via Facebook)!

With two bedrooms, a wrap-around deck, peaceful setting and close proximity to Martinborough's fabulous restaurants, Arthouse cinema, boutique shops and of course award winning wineries this is the perfect spot for a couple or small family to while away a few days.

The cottage costs $150/night for 2 people (2 night minimum stay, with 3 night minimum stay over long weekends) and additional guests $25/each per night. Message us below for more details or to book your nights away...summer is here so enjoy all that is on offer in the stunning Wairarapa.

Yay! The weather is looking perfect for the Martinborough Martinborough Olive Harvest Festival this weekend. A great opportunity to experience the whole olive oil making process and to enjoy some amazing food. The night market on Saturday night will be awesome!

For you beer connoisseurs. I can highly recommend Greater Wellington Brewday after having an excellent time at the first one earlier this year. Great variety of beers from micro breweries from throughout the Wellington Region.
