October 2024 Wine of the Month:

Our October winner is a regular favourite on visits to Martinborough. Once again our on tour guests have plumped for the Pinot Gris 2023 as their Wine of the Month choice. It's got all year around popularity and hits palates across the board pretty consistently.

Always nice to get great feedback from our guests. Here is a recent review of our Martinborough Foodie Half Day Tour in October.
I also agree that our Martinborough Winery & Foodie Tour is the even better full day option if you've got the time!

The tour was amazing. Our guide Phil was extremely knowledgeable about the area and we had an absolute blast on our trip in Wellington. As we had limited time in the city, we had opted for the half day tour but after our tour we wished we had taken the full day tour instead. Couldn't recommend Zozo Travel enough !

September 2024 Wine of the Month:

Our September winner is a blast from the past with a return to the top for the Après. Back again as a previous winner this non-vintage fortified wine is always a hit. Deliciously sweet with a dry brandy finish it's a great way to finish of our Martinborough Winery Tours and clearly popular with guests.
This is quite possibly the last hurrah for the Après as Muirlea Rise has sold and the last day of trading is coming up too soon!

August 2024: Wine of the Month

Our winery tour have guests gone a little floral and a lot lychee with the August 2024 Wine of the Month winner of Gewurztraminer 2023. It's been very popular with its abundance of flavour. Big lychee nose, a bit of sweetness too and did I mention lychee!
As always the winner was chosen by our guests on our range of winery tours to Martinborough.

July 2024: Wine of the Month

We are staying red with our July 2024 Wine of the Month but this time it's at Margrain Vineyard with their Home Block Pinot Noir 2021. Perfect time of the year for this taste of Martinborough. It's got some plum, it's got some savoury notes, it's got some tannins and in July it got the vote of Martinborough Winery Tour guests!

June 2024: Wine of the Month

Our tour guests couldn't call it this month with two wonderful Martinborough pinot noirs tied at the top!
with their mouth watering Runholder Pinot Noir 2020 and another shout out to a regular winner with Terrace Pinot Noir 2022 are the join winners for June 2024 Wine of the Month.
Both are great expressions of the Martinborough terroir with their savoury components and it's no surprise they were to top picks in what was a sunny but cool June!
